Checklist for ERASMUS+ Outgoings
The checklist for ERASMUS+ outgoings is intended to give you an overview of the most important information and steps before, during and after the ERASMUS+ application and give you the opportunity to tick off the steps and add notes.
Advantages of Erasmus+
Going abroad with the Erasmus+ program has many advantages:
- a full tuition waiver at the host university
- a monthly country-specific Erasmus+ mobility grant
- the opportunity to receive an "Inclusion Top Up" for equal opportunities
- a grant for travel costs and extra support for those who travel sustainably
- credit recognition for completed classes, as agreed upon in the “Learning Agreement”
- possibility to combine the Erasmus+ mobility grant with AuslandsBAföG or a Deutschlandstipendium
Good to know: For each phase of your studies (Bachelor, Master or PhD) you may receive Erasmus+ funding for up to 12 months, which means that you could theoretically combine Erasmus+ studies with an Erasmus+ internship or blended intensive program (BIP).
