Industrial Management
In this profile, the overall economic understanding for the management of mechanical or electrical engineering tasks is deepened. The focus is on courses from the module catalog of economics. In the field of engineering, students can choose between the specialization in production technology (modules in mechanical engineering) and energy management (modules in electrical engineering). Building on the knowledge and skills acquired in the bachelor's program, students can expand and deepen their knowledge so that technical expertise and social skills enable them to assume a management position. To support this development, the traditional teaching/learning forms in the master's program are often replaced by or supplemented with case-based work in teams.
The compulsory and elective modules can be found in the Module Handbook Master in Industrial Engineering of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The modules from the field of economics can be found in the module handbook of the Department of Economics.
