Recognition process
In order to have your academic achievements abroad recognized as part of your stay abroad (ERASMUS+), you must proceed as follows:
Crediting of a faculty-specific module (Department of Mechanical Engineering)

- submit an application for recognition via the website of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
- International Coordination will process your application and consult with the faculty's own chairs.
- You will be informed of the chair's decision within three months by the International Coordination Office.

- You submit your application and all required documents via the website of the Department of Mechanical Engineering to the Study Coordination Office.
- Your application will be processed by the Examination Board. In the event of a positive decision, it will be automatically forwarded to the Examinations Office. You will not be informed again. You can view the final recognition via the BOSS system.
Crediting of a non-faculty module (e.g. WiWi, E-technology)

- submit an application for recognition via the website of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
- The International Coordination Office will process your application and create a form for each academic achievement and send it to you.
- You will need this form in order to contact the chairs in the other departments independently and ask them to review your application.
- Please send a copy of the notification to the International Coordination Office once you have received it back from the chair.
Important: If you do not receive any feedback, please contact the International Coordination Office. You must first have the application prepared by the Department of Mechanical Engineering so that it can be correctly recorded for later recognition.
