Maria Paula Gómez is receiving the award for her academic achievements and personal dedication.

With the DAAD Prize, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) honors international students who, in addition to outstanding academic achievements, demonstrate exceptional social or intercultural engagement.

Ms. Gómez’s award recognizes her exceptional achievements in the Master of Science in Manufacturing Technology (MMT) program and her dedication. At the same time, it underscores the importance of international exchange and intercultural cooperation, which also characterize the MMT master’s program.

The department of Mechanical Engineering extends its warmest congratulations to Ms. Gómez on this well-deserved award and is delighted that the nomination by the Institute of Forming Technology and Lightweight Components (IUL) has been honored with the DAAD Award.
