First semester students sit in the stands at the stadium during the welcoming of first-semester students and watch a show act sideways.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the student representatives and TU Dortmund University warmly welcome the new students. There are numerous events around the start of the semester to help you get started with your studies.

Wednesday, 04.10.2023: First semester welcome of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; 14:00 in the Audimax
Thursday, 05.10.2023: Welcome of the new Master's students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; 14 :00 in lecture hall 1 in SRG I, H.001
Monday, 09.10.2023: Semester kick-off in the stadium; 10:00 am in Signal Iduna Park
