After completing his habilitation on the topic of Modeling, Control and Opportunities of Mechanical Interfaces Across the Scales, Dr.-Ing. habil. Patrick Kurzeja from the Institute of Mechanics was awarded a teaching license for the subject of mechanics.

The ceremonial handover of the certificate by the Dean of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Schulze Darup, took place during the inaugural lecture on February 24, 2025.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Kurzeja to the department as a Privatdozent.
