At this year's WGP Annual Congress, the German Academic Association for Production Technology (WGP) awarded the Otto Kienzle Commemorative Medal to Dr. Monika Kipp.

The Otto Kienzle Commemorative Medal is awarded annually to a young scientist for outstanding achievements in the field of manufacturing technology.

Dr.-Ing. Monika Kipp works at the Institute of Machining Technology at the Technical University of Dortmund, where she heads the Grinding Technology department.
