The "MinTU - Mädchen in die TU Dortmund" project informs schoolgirls between the ages of 12 and 14 about STEM subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology) and about the life of a female student.

And what could be better than getting all this information first-hand - from you!

The mentors are female students from the STEM faculties at TU Dortmund University. They have been studying for at least one year or are in their 3rd semester. The mentors are in regular contact with the students to give them an understanding of everyday student life. They share their experiences, thoughts and knowledge about studying and help the girls to find their interests and strengths.

Become a mentor and support girls in their STEM interests!

You have

  • Have fun and enjoy your STEM subject, student life, degree program...
  • You want to meet nice schoolgirls and other female STEM students and
  • Are you studying for a Bachelor's degree and are at least in your 3rd semester?

Then you can join the MinTU project!

In return you will receive

  • a mentoring certificate
  • a SHK contract for 2 hours per week from January 2024 to December 2024

Send your application with a cover letter and CV by 31.10.2023 to mintutu-dortmundde.
