Deutschlandstipendium: Apply now!
To be selected as a scholarship holder, you must first and foremost demonstrate good academic performance. However, previous academic achievements, social commitment, willingness to take on responsibility and special personal circumstances are also taken into account when awarding scholarships. The selected students are generally funded for two semesters, i.e. from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. It is possible to apply for continued funding until the end of the standard period of study. The corona-related increase in the standard period of study is taken into account.
The monthly funding amount is 300 euros and is independent of the student's other income. Half of the Deutschlandstipendium is provided by private sponsors (companies, associations, foundations, alumni, private individuals) and half by the federal government. Scholarship holders therefore not only benefit financially from the Deutschlandstipendium, it also offers them the opportunity to make valuable contacts with their sponsors.
The Deutschlandstipendium has been supporting high-achieving and talented students since the 2011/2012 winter semester. To date, over 1,000 TU Dortmund University students have been supported with a Deutschlandstipendium, including scholarship holders from over 30 countries.
