MMT Scholarship
Each year, a limited number of scholarships are available for selected students. The scholarships are awarded for two years and are paid in monthly rates. After the first year, the student’s achievements are reviewed to see if he/she has made adequate progress in his/her studies before the scholarship is continued to be granted for the second year.
During the application process you have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship.
Selection criteria:
-
Grades and ranking (make sure you belong to the best 10% of your year)
-
Further academic and social achievements
-
Convincing personal reasons and motivation
Please note that the scholarship selection process may take longer than the general admission process to the study program. The selected scholarship holders will be informed.
Do not make enquiries to the MMT Office about the state of your application or in general about your chances to be granted a scholarship or similar. Regrettably, we cannot provide any information of that kind before the selection process is completed!
As mentioned above, the number of scholarships is limited, and you may not be selected even if you have presented convincing reasons. We therefore generally advise everybody to search for alternative sources of financial support as soon as possible to be well prepared for a two-year stay abroad. For example, contact your local DAAD.
International students can apply for scholarships at numerous institutions. The extensive DAAD scholarship database for foreign students, graduates and academics offers a wide range of scholarships and additional Information to help them with their application.
The Deutschlandstipendium provides financial and non-material support to high-achieving and committed students from all over the world. Funding is normally granted for at least two semesters but may be provided for a maximum time which covers the standard period of study.
You can find more information about other scholarships and alternative ways of financing your studies on the website of the International Office.
