Requirements & Application Documents
- a Bachelor's degree, e.g. in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
- Your Bachelor education should include at last three years of engineering-related courses with a minimum of 180 Credit Points* (CP):
a) 9 CP mechanics
b) 15 CP mathematics
c) 15 CP materials engineering, production engineering, the theory of design, and/or metallurgy and feedback control
Credits from the fields a) - c) totaling at least 50 CP
* 1 Credit Point is equivalent to 30 working hours - If you have not yet finished your current studies, please upload a document stating this fact and when you will finish your studies
- If you have not yet received your degree, please upload a provisional certificate and state when you will send us your final certificate
- GPA: 2.9 or better (German grading system) [To convert you grade to the German system, please use the "Bavarian Formula"]
- in the original language and a certified translation (German/English)
- stating the grades for every examination taken so far in all your semesters

Proof of competencies in the English language, which must at least correspond to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
- TOEFL (min. scores: iBT: 72; PBT: 543; ITP: 543) or
- Academic IELTS (min. score: 5.5) or
- Cambridge First Certificate (CEFR-level B2)
- The test score must be valid at least until the end of the application period (15th March)
- The test score must be uploaded as a screenshot or scanned during the online application

It is not necessary to provide proof of English language proficiency if the following certificates are submitted:
Secondary school leaving certificates from:
Australia, Canada (all provinces except Quebec and New Brunswick), USA (High School Diploma) and British A-Level certificates, Irish Leaving Certificate, New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement, Scottish Qualifications Certificate
